Each item is assigned a unique QRCode. When someone finds your item and scans it, they are directed to a secure page where they can see the item details and (if you allow it) your contact information.

Yes. You have full control over your privacy. By using the Private/Public Toggle in your item list, you can choose to hide your email & phone number until you are ready to coordinate a return.

  • We distribute the QR stickers in school events. Tip: There is a gap in the middle, bend the sticker a bit to peel.
  • DIY. If you have laser printer, you can use paper with clear tape (atually very reliable). Go to Register tab and register your account. At the end, you have choice to print QR code or request QR sticker.

Go to mylostfound.com Register Page, at bottom, Review/Update Registration. Ensure your item is listed. If a finder scans your code, you will receive a notification via SMS & email address associated with your account.

No. Our goal is to help our community stay connected and keep their belongings. Basic item registration and recovery are free for all users.
